North Eastern Junior Cricket Association

North Eastern Junior Cricket Association is a Junior Cricket Association supporting 18 Cricket Clubs with over 100 junior cricket teams in the North and Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide providing a cricket program for all children to play and enjoy cricket in a structured competition.

The Association provides children with opportunities

NEJCA believes that junior sport should be safe, enjoyable, inclusive and maximise individual participation. We acknowledge that positive experiences in junior cricket will contribute to children developing a lifelong love of the sport.

Cricket players are given equal opportunities to bat, bowl, wicket keep and field in all positions to allow them to learn and develop skills in all aspects of the game, in a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment with the emphasis on participation. The Association encourages players to develop a spirit of cooperation and teamwork amongst their teammates and aims to provide the best cricketing experience for all children who want to play cricket.

NEJCA’s Rules and Playing Conditions are age appropriate to provide enjoyment and assist with the development of Junior Cricketers.

THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES COACHES WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Association provides coaches with opportunities to develop and increase their skills with accredited coaches’ courses provided.
